3. Koh Trung Island
It is located in front of the town of Kraties and it is accessed by a ferry a half hour drive through this river. On the island, there are quiet villages where typical houses on stilts of semi-fishermen and farmers are frequented in order to approach to the local life. 2. Koh Pen Island
Koh Pen Island is a beautiful island and beach located the midway from Kampong Cham and Kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province. 1. Koh Dach (Silk Island)
It’s located about 18 kilometer north of Phnom Penh city which entire area of these island covers 30 square kilometers of land lying on the shores of Mekong River. It well- known for its silk weaving island and it oasis of tranquility. Here you get to see real rural life at just a stone’s drop from the busting capital: wooden houses on stilts, fruit orchards, vegetable farms, school, pagoda, local market and even the odd ox and cart meandering along the road.
